Bj port(cath) placement



today im(Renita) blogging for Bj so i can tell everyone about his port experience. through the i.v insertion, the local sedation of the chest, & the chest port. Bj didnt flinch,cry, or scream. i was a cancer patient 9yrs ago & had 2 receive a port. its sad 2 say but i cried,kick & screamed they even had 2 put me asleep.His courage & strength i adore. i couldnt of ask GOD for a better son. He truly is my SUPER HERO!!! (below is some video)

    I'm so glad that everything went well yesterday. The 5k for BJ was so great today. The coming together of people is so uplifting. So many people are cheering you and your family on. Talk to you guys soon.

    You are so brave and so strong. You are the only superhero that I admire. You are strong enough to do ANYTHING. YOU DON'T EVEN LOOK LIKE YOU WERE SCARED WHEN THEY PUT YOUR PORT IN!! I THANK GOD for giving you all this strength and power.

    I am marvled by your strength. You are taking this like a trooper. You have know idea as to how many people you are blessing. Daily someone will approach me to tell me your story. Super does not describe the type of HERO you really are. Take care of your mama and nana.

    Its been such a long time. I am glad to see BJ improving and keeping a smile on his face. My mom told be about what was going on and you guys are in my prayers! "When prayers go up Blessings will come down" And you have alot of prayers going upstairs. BJ I am very proud of you and RENITA i'm very proud of you..you have come a very long way! You were my role model when we were growing up! i wish you the best

    Just sitting here thinking about you little brother! I have some really good friends in Houston who are going to come take you, Renita and your Nana around Houston whenever you're ready! As you can see there are a lot of people praying for you buddy! I know you're going to be just fine BJ. You dont have to worry about anything because God is looking out for you.     I miss you. I was at hickory woods this night day had there fall festival and also day did bottles for Ben a lot of people maid donations for you also some kids read a story for you. You are so loved. i love talking to you everyday and i can not wait for you to get better.
